This is harvested Ponderosa Pine timber with unspecified moisture content which should be given time to dry thoroughly before use in applications where shrinkage or movement may be an issue.
This Ponderosa Pine timber is dead standing "Must Cut" natural pine timber from the New Mexico forest. These logs are 100% natural Ponderosa knotty pine with all of its inherent qualities and beauty. Some of this Must Cut pine timber has begun accumulating unique characteristics such as bluing, mineral discolorations and beetle holes associated with WildFire standing timber. These natural characteristics add beauty and charm to rustic decor.
Following harvest, these Ponderosa Pine logs are machine peeled making producing knotty pine logs and poles ideal for Southwestern Vigas, as well as beautiful posts, columns or beams for any home, porch, patio, pergola or gazebo where the distinct qualities of natural knotty Ponderosa pine is desirable. A “Hand Peeled” option can be applied giving them a draw knifed appearance. Sandblasting can be applies to produce a wind weathered texture to these Must Cut pine logs, poles and Vigas.
